PLATTE — Ethan/Parkston’s Taziah Hawkins won both hurdle races at Thursday’s Platte-Geddes Last Chance Meet. 

Hawkins won the 100-meter hurdles (:15.95) and 300-meter hurdles (:49.48). Ethan/Parkston’s Emma Perry won the 3,200-meter run (12:45.22). 

Ethan/Parkston’s Berkley Ziebart, Morgan Maxwell, Marissa Storm and Emelia Tapio won the 400-meter relay (:53.01). Ziebart, Maxwell, Storm and Tapio won the 800-meter relay (1:50.25). 

Keera Oakley won the javelin (109-0) for Ethan/Parkston. Ethan/Parkston’s Rachel Klock won the long jump (16-9.25) and triple jump (34-2). 

Miller’s Gracen Werdel won the 400-meter dash (1:04.15). Hailey Werdel, Jordyn Pugh, Paige Werdel and Gracen Werdel won the 1,600-meter relay (4:22.34). 

Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal won the shot put (38-2) and high jump (5-3). 

Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips won the 800-meter run (2:20.20) and 1,600-meter run (5:20.93). 

MVP’s Sammi Eide won the 200-meter dash (:29.27). Eide, Ariel Wermers, Brooklyn Bosma and Suri Schmidt won the sprint medley relay (4:23.69).  

Platte-Geddes’ Dulcie Veurink won the 100-meter dash (:13.66) 

Chamberlain’s Piper Powell won the discus (112-5). Platte-Geddes’ Claire Maydew won the pole vault (9-4). 

On the boys side, Ethan/Parkston’s Mark Deckert won the 100-meter dash (:10.98). Deckert, Burke Nuebel, Mason Jervik and Parker Sanderson won the 400-meter relay (:44.61). Nuebel, Jervik, Sanderson and Sean Deckert won the 800-meter relay (1:32.23). 

Sean Deckert won the 400-meter dash (:50.92) and triple jump (45-1.75).  

Ethan/Parkston’s Gavin Weber won the shot put (47-3.75). 

Jervik won the long jump (21-10). 

Kimball/White Lake’s Lincoln Kranig won the 200-meter dash (:22.51) and took second in the 100-meter dash (:11.03). KWL’s Darron Moeller won the 1,600-meter run (4:57.62). 

KWL’s Colt Leiferman, Alex Ekstrum, Joseph Skluzak and Carter Konechne won the 3,200-meter relay (8:52.41). 

Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Riley Mayer, Trysten Eide, Derrick Fletcher and Cole Sandland won the 1,600-meter relay (3:33.60). Kyle Sandland, Eide, Mayer and Fletcher won the sprint medley relay (3:50.13). 

Chamberlain’s Liam Gill won the 3,200-meter run (11:06.91) and placed second in the 1,600-meter run (4:58.54). 

Winner’s Jaxon Day won the discus (164-0) and took second in the shot put (45-0.25). 

Platte-Geddes’ Walter Graesser won the 800-meter run (2:04.16). 

Chamberlain’s Isaac Shephard won the javelin (138-8). 

Todd County’s Bryson Edwards won the high jump (6-1). 

Platte-Geddes’ Kyler Strand won the pole vault (11-4).
