WALL — Jones County’s BreAna Aske captured two first-place finishes at a shortened Eagle Qualifier. 

Aske won the 100-meter dash (:12.44) and 400-meter dash (1:02.18) at the track and field meet, which was cut short due to rainy conditions.  

Kadoka Area’s Landyn Koehn was also a double-winner in the shot put (35-9.75) and discus (130-1). Bennett County’s Rush O’Neill won the 100-meter dash (:10.83) and long jump (23-11). 

On the boys side, Bennett County’s Maddux Risse won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.05) and placed second in the javelin (131-9). 

Philip’s David McKinley won the 400-meter dash (:52.26). Philip’s Tyce Gropper, Owen Terkildsen, Beckham Terkildsen and Teagan Gropper won the 400-meter relay (:44.56). The same quartet won the 800-meter relay (1:32.27). 

Philip’s Evan Henrie, Aidan Craven, Xander Harry and Camo Kochesberger won the 3,200-meter relay (9:29.80). 

Faith’s Peyton Kirkley won the shot put (42-7.5). 

Custer’s Zane Gunnell won the 1,600-meter run (5:02.78). 

Wall’s Westan Kjerstad won the discus (95-2). 

Custer’s Brady Virtue won the javelin (138-4). 

Philip’s Ridge Furnival won the pole vault (10-0). 

Hot Springs’ Alain Rono won the triple jump (41-2). 

On the girls side, Bennett County’s Peyson O’Neill won the 100-meter hurdles (:14.87), followed by her sister Jade O’Neill (:15.17). Bennett County’s Reagan O’Neill won the long jump (18-11.5), followed by Jade O’Neill (16-10). 

Jones County’s Aubrey Tucker, Addison Rankin, Molly Nix and Julia Kinsley won the 3,200-meter relay (11:05.18). Maggie Dowling won the javelin (102-8) for Jones County. 

New Underwood’s Olivia Carmichael won the 1,600-meter run (5:49.26).

Philip’s Kale Peterson, Nora Peterson, Callie Harry and Drew Terkildsen won the 400-meter relay (:52.71). Dacoda Harry, Callie Harry, Nora Peterson and Kale Peterson won the 800-meter relay (1:52.08). Terkildsen won the high jump (5-3) for the Scotties. 

Wall’s Callie Casjens won the pole vault (10-0). 

Hill City’s Kinsey Dillavou won the triple jump (32-10.5).
