Arlington 52, Iroquois/Lake Preston 47

ARLINGTON — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 5 Arlington clipped Iroquois/Lake Preston in a girls basketball game on Monday.

Arlington’s Jolyssa Steffensen logged 16 points, 10 steals and seven rebounds. Addalyn Steffensen added 11 points, four assists and three steals. Jaelyn Huntimer had 10 points and six rebounds. Isabelle Steffensen had nine points.

For Iroquois/Lake Preston, Adison Moore posted 21 points, 12 rebounds and six rebounds. Hadlee Holt added 13 points and 17 boards. Kera Dubro had five points and six rebounds. Faith Steffensen added 12 rebounds and three points. Rebecca Bich had five points.  


Faulkton Area 41, Redfield 33

FAULKTON — Faulkton Area pulled away from Redfield for a girls basketball win on Monday. 

Faulkton Area’s Addison Melius posted 15 points and five rebounds. Carley Cotton added 12 points, five rebounds and three steals. Kelli Stoecker had eight points. 

For Redfield, Katie Rozell finished with 13 points and nine rebounds. Charli Jungwirth had six points. Chloe Zens added six rebounds and three points.


Florence-Henry 57, Waubay-Summit 29 

WAUBAY — Three players scored in double figures to lead Florence-Henry to a girls basketball win on Monday. 

Florence-Henry’s Caylin Kelly logged 20 points, while Taylor Watson scored 14 points. Ashlyn Vavruska had 12 points. 

Waubay-Summit’s Eva Benike and Faith Larson scored six points apiece. Peyton Rumpza and Aubrey Strang scored five points apiece. 


Great Plains Lutheran 53, Tri-State, N.D., 40

WATERTOWN — Great Plains Lutheran picked up a girls basketball win on Monday.

GPL’s Abby Kjenstad logged 16 points, while Esta Cameron scored 11 points. Madeline Prahl posted nine points and Halle Bauer scored eight points. Olivia Holmen had seven points. 

For Tri-State, Shali Laurence had 17 points and Jasmine Owen scored nine points. Macy Fritz had eight points. Iceli Rabbithead posted six points. 


Northwestern 54, Britton-Hecla 47

BRITTON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Northwestern to a girls basketball win on Monday.

Northwestern’s Anna Ratigan logged 19 points and 11 rebounds. Ashley Haven added 15 points and eight rebounds. Tara Blachford had 11 points and four rebounds. Josie Sparling logged nine boards. Braelyn Satter had three points, five rebounds and four assists. 

For Britton-Hecla, Sterling Brassfield posted 18 points and 10 rebounds. Tiyanna Schott had 12 points and eight rebounds. Jayden Bender had nine points, nine rebounds and three steals. Addison Wade logged six points and three rebounds.
