Rapid City Christian 61, Douglas 25

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Christian coasted past Douglas for a Saturday girls basketball win. 

Rapid City Christian’s Brynn Casey finished with 15 points, while Nia Selfridge and Nora Kieffer scored nine points apiece. Sadie Marshall had seven points. Maddie Kooiman and Alex Love scored five points apiece. 

For Douglas, Olivia Harris scored eight points. Emma Blaisure and Taryn Shroyer scored five points apiece. 


Chester 45, Garretson 16

CHESTER — Kaitlyn Hilbelink and Emmerson Eppard combined for 25 points as Chester defeated Garretson in girls basketball action Saturday.

Hilbelink led the Flyers with 14 points and nine rebounds, Eppard added 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists, Jacy Wolf had nine points, seven rebounds and seven steals while  Katelyn Schut brought down eight rebounds in the win.

Garretson’s Harper Andera totaled nine points in the loss for the Blue Dragons.


Miller 62, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 52

MILLER — Madelyn Saienga and Paige Werdel powered Miller to a Saturday girls basketball win.

Saienga finished with a game-high 23 points and Werdel added 22 points. Jolie Palmer scored nine points.

For CEB, Suni Bowman scored a team-high 17 points. Pamela Meeter scored 15 points and Cadence Bernie added 12 points. Mary Dee Dion had five points. 


Lyman 65, Gettysburg 36 

GETTYSBURG — Mak Scott and Jordyn Scott powered Class B No. 4 Lyman to a Saturday girls basketball win.

Mak Scott finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds and four assists. Jordyn Scott added 22 points, five rebounds and five assists. Bree Smart had nine points, five rebounds and three assists. Kenzie Wagner and Ella Ehlers scored five points apiece. Wagner grabbed seven rebounds and Ehlers collected five boards. 


North Central 55, McIntosh 32

ROSCOE — Amree VanderVorst powered North Central to a Saturday girls basketball win. 

VanderVorst tossed in a game-high 30 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Alaina Dosch posted 10 points and four steals. Ella Batie had six points and 12 rebounds. Carleigh Dosch scored five points.

For McIntosh, Marlee Hayes scored nine points. Riley Glines six points and Jessmyn Hertel scored five points. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 69, Madison 40

MADISON — Cera Schmitz and Paige Jacobs powered Elk Point-Jefferson to a Saturday girls basketball win over Madison.

Schmitz recorded 21 points, 12 steals and five rebounds. Jacobs added 13 points and four rebounds. Carly Schmitz posted nine points, while Camryn Norris recorded eight points and four rebounds. Molly Geary and Laney Trometer scored six points apiece. Geary added five assists and Trometer had three boards. 

For Madison, Grace Feige finished with 14 points, four steals and three 3-pointers. Jaya Engels totaled eight points, while Collins Nielsen had five points and four rebounds. Aubri Tobkin finished with five points.


Sioux Valley 57, Clark/Willow Lake 26

VOLGA — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 5 Sioux Valley took down Clark/Willow Lake in girls basketball action Saturday.

Talya Vincent led all Cossacks with 18 points and two assists, Liberty Trygstad added 14 points, nine rebounds, four steals and two assists, Kailey Cradduck had 12 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block, Amari Ward totaled five points, six rebounds and four steals while Skylar Knutson netted five points in the win.

For CWL, Jenny Bevers had seven points and three steals, Shelby Begeman added six points, eight rebounds and two steals, Brynn Roehrich had six points and nine rebounds while Johanna Vandersnick recorded four steals in the loss.
