Lakota Tech 59, Rapid City Christian 49

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures to pace Lakota Tech to a Lakota Nation Invitational girls basketball basketball win on Friday.

LT’s Amelia Shangreaux totaled 20 points, six rebounds, three steals and three 3-pointers. Lizzie Robinson had 17 points and five rebounds. Deandrea Iron Cloud totaled 10 points and four steals. 

For Rapid City Christian, Brynn Casey finished with nine points and four rebounds. Alex Love and Nora Kieffer recorded eight points apiece. 


Mahpiya Luta 60, Wall 24

RAPID CITY — Ashlan Carlow-Blount totaled a double-double in Class A No. 1 Mahpiya Luta’s win over Wall during Friday’s Lakota Nation Invitational.

Carlow-Blount finished with a game-high 19 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in the win, Shania Ferguson added 12 points, Tahca Zephier had nine points and three boards while Mya Mills collected eight points and three steals in the win.

For Wall, Karmyn Kjerstad tallied 10 points in the loss.


Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 52, Todd County 46

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures to power Cheyenne-Eagle Butte to a Friday girls basketball win at the Lakota Nation Invitational. 

CEB’s Cadence Bernie totaled 21 points and four 3-pointers. Dakotta Longbrake had 11 points and nine rebounds. Suni Bowman added 10 points and 11 rebounds. 

For TC, Trinity Bettelyoun recorded 19 points and nine rebounds. Savanna Stands On Top had nine points and 13 rebounds. Tashay LeRoy recorded eight points. 


Oelrichs 66, Tiospaye Topa 18 

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures to power Oelrichs to a Lakota Nation Invitational girls basketball win on Friday.

Oelrichs’ Nalolah Warrior finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Makayla Lone Wolf added 16 points. Cassi Bad Heart Bull had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Myleih Blacksmith had nine points and eight rebounds.

For TT, Madison Jefferies recorded 13 points and six rebounds. 


Tiospa Zina 81, Takini 6

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures to pace Tiospa Zina to a Lakota Nation Invitational girls basketball win on Friday.

TZ’s Kayleigh Abbey and Stevie Marks scored 14 points apiece. Zitkana Cook had 12 points. 

For Takini, Bessie Eagle Chasing and MyLeigh Charging Cloud scored three points apiece. 


Lower Brule 65, Crazy Horse 25 

RAPID CITY — Four players scored in double figures to pace Lower Brule to a girls basketball win at Friday’s Lakota Nation Invitational.

LB’s Ezmiah Middletent had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Florence Charger and Brilyn LaRoche scored 13 points apiece. Marlee Sazue totaled 10 points and seven rebounds. 

For Crazy Horse, Lelanna Red Elk finished with 14 points and six rebounds. Samara Dreaming Bear scored five points. 


Omaha Nation (Neb.) 58, White River 32

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures to pace Omaha Nation (Neb.) over White River in girls basketball action at Friday’s Lakota Nation Invitational.

Mikkel Parker had 24 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals in the win, Desma Walker added 15 points and nine rebounds, Dailene Walker had 10 points and seven boards while Taylece McCauley added four points, six rebounds and five steals in the win.

For WR, Page Wright had 13 points and 10 rebounds while Leah Carr added six points in the loss.


Dupree 65, Wakpala 50

RAPID CITY — Four players scored in double figures in Dupree’s Lakota National Invitational win over Wakpala Friday.

Jaeshawnia Iron Hawk led the Tigers with 18 points, eight rebounds and six steals, Maddiynn Red Bear had 16 points, six rebounds and five steals, Jada Brewer tallied 13 points, five rebounds and four steals, while Breana Domingo totaled 12 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Wakpala’s Tateyanna Parisian had 18 points and six boards while Emma Brown and Railyn Little Shield each had 10 points in the loss.


Marty 43, St. Francis Indian 33

RAPID CITY — Zoe Waln and Gabby Zephier combined for 32 points in Marty’s Lakota Nation Invitational win over St. Francis Indian Friday.

Waln led the Braves with 20 points, nine steals and eight rebounds, Zephier tallied 12 points, nine rebounds and four steals while Rozario Zephier had seven points and four boards in the win.

For SFI, Payton Jo Red Feather tallied 14 points and five rebounds, Erin White Lance added five points and 17 rebounds while Joslin Bordeaux and Wakil Najin Win White Hat each had five points in the loss.


Custer 42, Santee 25

RAPID CITY — Kylee Ellerton and Rylan Lowe totaled 29 combined points in Custer’s Lakota Nation Invitational win over Santee Friday.

Ellerton led the Wildcats with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven steals, Lowe added 11 points and four steals, Emarsyn Jaure netted seven points, Myley May had six points and five boards while Keira Nelson had seven points and 10 rebounds in the win.

Santee’s Miley Pike tallied 14 points, nine rebounds, two steals and two blocks, Urijah Starlin had nine points and four boards, Daeonnah Henry had eight points and six rebounds while Aubrinee Tuttle and Talia Sansoci each had five points in the loss.


Little Wound 61, Crow Creek 53

RAPID CITY — Addison Cloud and Tessa Jumping Eagle combined to score 34 points to power Little Wound to a Lakota Nation Invitational girls basketball win on Friday.

Cloud recorded 20 points and six steals. Jumping Eagle totaled 14 points and four rebounds. Romona Tibbitts had eight points and Kalia Long Soldier added seven points.

For Crow Creek, Allison Wells finished with 22 points, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. Jordyn Traversie added 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals. Lux Fallis had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
