Waubay-Summit 42, Clark/Willow Lake 35

WAUBAY — Waubay-Summit clipped Clark/Willow Lake in girls basketball action on Thursday.

Peyton Rumpza and Faith Larson had 12 points apiece. Eva Benike added nine points. Madison Zirbel logged seven points. 

For CWL, Brynn Roehrich scored 10 points, while Kamryn Nesheim logged eight points. Tehya Vig scored seven points. 


Miller 46, Stanley County 38

MILLER — Miller held off Stanley County for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Miller’s Paige Werdel finished with 14 points. Gracen Werdel scored 10 points. 

Stanley County’s Mattie Duffy scored 15 points, all on 3-pointers. Cadence Hand added 14 points. 


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 55, Menno 24

MENNO — Three players scored in double figures to pace Tripp-Delmont/Armour to a girls basketball win vs. Menno on Thursday.

Megan Reiner logged 20 points, six steals, six assists and two blocked shots. Kinley Spaans and Marissa Leonard posted 11 points apiece. Leonard added four rebounds and four assists. Mia Reiner scored six points. Belle Hotchkiss had six rebounds.

Menno’s Ashton Massey finished with seven points and seven rebounds. Kylie Guthmiller had six points and four rebounds. Zoe Schaeffer had five points, while Kaelie Derby had five rebounds and four points. 

 

Milbank 61, Wahpeton, N.D., 56

WAHPETON, N.D. — Isabella Anderson poured in 32 points and hit six 3-pointers in a Milbank girls basketball win on Thursday.

Anderson added six rebounds and two steals. Tyra Berry posted 19 points, four steals and three 3-pointers. Claire Snaza had eight rebounds and four points. Josie Riveland collected seven rebounds.


Elk Point-Jefferson 49, Canton 37 

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson pulled away from Canton for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

EPJ’s Kaitlyn VanRoekel finished with 15 points, five steals and four rebounds. Courtney Brewer added 11 points. Ashley Brewer had nine points and nine rebounds. Bentlee Kollbaum added eight points and nine rebounds. 

For Canton, Jenna Vande Weerd logged 10 points and six rebounds. Danica Rozeboom finished with eight points. Bria Cady added seven points, while Shelbie Olseth scored six points and grabbed five rebounds. 


Iroquois/Lake Preston 65, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 34

IROQUOIS — Iroquois/Lake Preston picked up a girls basketball win on Thursday. 

Adison Moore led the way with 26 points, while Hadlee Holt added 15 points. Moore added eight steals, while Holt had 11 rebounds. Kera Dubro had eight rebounds. 

For ORR, Julia Trygstad and Emily Matson posted 12 points apiece. 


Dell Rapids 45, Madison 31

MADISON — Dell Rapids pulled away from Madison for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Dell Rapids’ Elly Olson finished with 14 points and five boards. Clara Justice added 10 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Rorie Thoreson had nine points and four rebounds. Jersi Schultz logged eight points and 10 rebounds. 

For Madison, Audrey Nelson had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Ella Peterreins had 10 points and five rebounds. 


Sioux Falls Washington 68, Sioux Falls Lincoln 29 

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Washington topped Sioux Falls Lincoln in girls basketball action on Thursday.

Washington’s Grace Peterson finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Dana Harpe added 13 points and five assists. Isabel Carda had 10 points and four rebounds. Rylan Kennett scored eight points, while Claire Woods had seven points and four assists. Ava Brink added six points, five rebounds and four assists.

For Lincoln, Kierra Lubovich had 14 points and five rebounds. Kacie Adler had six rebounds and four points. Ashley Thuch had five rebounds.
