Wagner 57, Vermillion 54

WAGNER — Wagner outlasted Vermillion for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Wagner’s Lydia Yost scored 18 points on six 3-pointers. Ashlyn Koupal logged 16 points, while Hayden Knudsen scored 13 points. Braxton Nedved and Macy Koupal scored five points apiece.

Vermillion’s Taylor Reuvers recorded 19 points, while Brooke Jensen scored 12 points. Brooklyn Voss had 11 points. Kasey Hanson had six points and Chandler Cleveland added five points. 


Flandreau 64, Baltic 24

FLANDREAU — Three players scored in double-figures as Class A No. 1 Flandreau closed out their regular season with a win over Baltic in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Hannah Krull paced the Fliers in scoring with 15 points. Lily Klein added 11 points and Morgan Sheppard chipped in with 10 points. 

Caitlyn Pickett led Baltic with seven points. 


Arlington 55, Chester 46

ARLINGTON — Three players scored in double-figures as Class B No. 5 Arlington ran past Chester in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Addalyn Steffensen powered Arlington with 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three steals. Jaelyn Huntimer scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Harley Johnson had 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals. 

Jacy Wolf led Chester with 21 points, five assists and three steals. Emery Larson and Katelyn Schutt each had 11 points while Emmerson Eppard snared 13 rebounds. 


Lennox 56, Beresford 39 

LENNOX — Lennox pulled away from Beresford for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Lennox’s Carli Kuyper finished with 10 points, while Ryan Hanssen had nine points. Teagan Sturm scored eight points.

Beresford’s Ella Merriman scored nine points. 


Highmore-Harrold 38, Ipswich 24

HIGHMORE — Highmore-Harrold picked up a girls basketball win over Ipswich on Tuesday.

Highmore-Harrold’s Jada Baloun logged 13 points, while Addison McDonnell had eight points. Elle Stagg scored six points and Kendall Cermak posted five points.

Ipswich’s Anna Nierman scored six points. Tristan Geditz had five points. 


Miller 50, Faulkton Area 45

MILLER — A balanced scoring attack helped Miller hold off Faulkton Area in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Morgan Kolda led Miller with 19 points while adding four rebounds, two assists and six  steals. Jolie Palmer scored 13 points to go along with 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals. 

Carley Cotton led Faulkton Area with 25 points while adding six rebounds, three assists and four steals. Presleigh Martinmaas chipped in with 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals. 


Hanson 62, Chamberlain 28 

ALEXANDRIA — Hanson coasted past Chamberlain for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Hanson’s Alyssa Moschell recorded 18 points and six rebounds. Taziah Hawkins added 13 points and five assists. Cadence Jarding recorded nine points and four steals. Eliza Oltmanns posted nine points and six rebounds. 

Chamberlain’s Jayna Handel had 12 points and Kinsey Evans added eight points. 


Great Plains Lutheran 56, North Central 35

WATERTOWN — A balanced scoring attack helped Great Plains Lutheran earn a win over North Central in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Abby Kjenstad led GPL with 21 points while Olivia Holman scored 15 points. Ella Camero finished with nine points while Julia Prahl added six points. 

Amree Vander Vorst led North Central with 21 points. 


Milbank 50, Madison 39

MADISON — A big night from Isabella Anderson helped Milbank push past Madison for a Tuesday night girls basketball win.

Anderson powered Milbank with 22 points and eight rebounds. Avery Schuneman and Anna Neugebauer each had six points while Tyra Berry added five points and six rebounds. 

Audrey Nelson led Madison with 23 points and nine rebounds. Karley Lurz scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds. 


Northwestern 41, Redfield 36

MELLETTE — Northwestern edged Redfield for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Northwestern’s Ana Ratigan logged 21 points and nine rebounds. Ashley Haven added nine points and five rebounds. Tara Blachford posted four points and six rebounds.

Redfield’s Katie Rozell had 24 points, four rebounds and three 3-pointers. Kinley Smith posted five rebounds and three rebounds.


Garretson 61, Parker 44

GARRETSON — A balanced scoring attack helped Garretson earn a win over Parker in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Sydney Olson powered Garretson with 16 points, six rebounds and four steals. Tayler Benson poured in 16 points and had four steals while Jordyn Williams had 10 points, five assists and two steals. 

Parker Lessman led Parker with 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Katie Bialas chipped in with nine rebounds.
