White River 78, Pine Ridge 21

WHITE RIVER — White River used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Maleena Brave posted 17 points, while Chaela O’Leary had 14 points. Kam Krogman added 13 points. Skyler Krogman scored 12 points and Page Wright had nine points. Riley Lunderman posted eight points.

Pine Ridge’s Mia Long Visitor scored seven points and Kylee Few Tails had six points.


Hitchcock-Tulare 52, Highmore-Harrold 48

HITCHCOCK — Three players scored in double-figures as Hitchcock-Tulare held off Highmore-Harrold in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Katelyn Schroeder led Hitchcock-Tulare with 16 points. Cambree Hoekman added 14 points and Isabel Gilbert chipped in with 11 points. 

Addison McConnell led Highmore-Harrold with 14 points. Jada Baloun pumped in 12 points and Autumn Fallis chipped in with nine points. 


Wagner 64, Gregory 29 

GREGORY — Ashlyn Koupal recorded a triple-double to power Wagner to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Koupal finished with 23 points, 17 rebounds, 10 blocked shots and four steals. Lydia Yost recorded 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. Macy Koupal added 16 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. 

Gregory’s Regan Graesser posted eight points, while Dani VanDerWerff had seven points and seven rebounds. Ashlyn Vosika posted six points and four rebounds. Asia VanDerWerff had five points and four assists. 


Hanson 58, Freeman 46

ALEXANDRIA — Four players scored in double figures to pace Hanson to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Hanson’s Taziah Hawkins posted 21 points, while Kylie Haiar had 11 points. Alyssa Moschell and Eliza Oltmanns scored 10 points apiece.

Freeman’s Rylee Peters scored 17 points. Ashlin Jacobsen had nine points and Peyton McCune added eight points. 


Centerville 70, Canton 45

CENTERVILLE — Four players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 2 Centerville to a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Centerville’s Emma Marshall logged 17 points and 10 rebounds. Izzie Eide had 16 points. Keira Austin added 15 points, while Lillie Eide had 11 points, five assists and four steals. Althea Gust posted eight points and six rebounds. 

Canton’s Jenna Vande Weerd had 13 points. 


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 53, Marty 33

LAKE ANDES — Josie Brouwer and Halle Olson logged double-doubles to pace Andes Central/Dakota Christian to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Brouwer logged 22 points and 18 rebounds. Olson had 10 points and 19 boards. Gabbie Olson logged six points and nine rebounds.

Marty stats were not reported. 


Bon Homme 41, Burke 34

BURKE — A balanced scoring attack helped Bon Homme slip past Burke in girls basketball action Tuesday, 

Jurni Vavruska led Bon Homme with 14 points while Taycee Ranek added 12 points. Erin Heusinkveld led with eight rebounds and Stacy Gilbert chipped in with seven boards.

Paige Bull led Burke with 10 points and nine rebounds. Cecily Geaghan had eight points while Kailee Frank and Emmie Hausmann each added seven points. Frank added four assists while Piper Hanson chipped in with five rebounds and three steals. 


Chester 83, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 55

CHESTER — Chester coasted past Oldham-Ramona-Rutland for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Chester’s Emmerson Eppard posted 21 points and 11 rebounds. Emery Larson had 20 points. Katelyn Schut logged 15 points, while Brooklyn Holman had 10 points. Jacy Wolf had 11 rebounds. 

ORR’s Bailey Hyland scored 18 points, while Julia Trygstad had 13 points. Emily Watson scored 10 points. 


Kimball/White Lake 52, Corsica-Stickney 45

WHITE LAKE — A balanced scoring attack helped Kimball/White Lake earn a win over Corsica-Stickney in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Harley Namanny led Kimball/White Lake with 17 points, four assists and three steals. Ryann Nielsen added 14 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and four steals. Rylee McCord added nine points and pitched in with five assists and four steals. 

Brooklyn Bosma led Corsica-Stickney with ten points. Braylee Bordewyk finished with nine points, five rebounds, six assists and six steals. 


Parkston 55, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 51

FORESTBURG — A balanced scoring attack helped Parkton earn a road win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Berkeley Ziebert led Parkston with 16 points. Myu Thuringer added 14 points and Laura Ziebert chipped in with 11 points. 

Liz Boschee led Sanborn/Central/Woonsocket with 24 points while Jaycee Baruth added seven points for the night. 


Ipswich 40, Aberdeen Christian 24

IPSWICH — Ipswich jumped out to a 17-5 first-quarter lead en route to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Ipswich’s Jalyssa Hutson recorded 10 points, while Marley Guthmiller posted nine points and seven rebounds. 

Aberdeen Christian’s Jolie Fogarty scored eight points and grabbed five boards. Chloe Bosma had seven points and five rebounds. Sophia Fogarty added six points and seven boards. 


Northwestern 53, Webster Area 37

MELLETTE — Ana Ratigan and Tara Blachford combined to score 35 points to pace Northwestern to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Ratigan finished with 21 points and five rebounds. Blachford added 14 points and four 3-pointers. Josie Sparling and Sophia Troske had seven points apiece. Ashley Haven posted eight rebounds and four points.

Webster Area’s Erin Sannes logged 13 points and seven rebounds. Harley Johnson posted seven points and eight rebounds. Bailee Ninke had five points and five rebounds. 


Sioux Valley 70, Deuel 26 

CLEAR LAKE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Sioux Valley to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Sioux Valley’s Keyra Kruse recorded 17 points and eight boards. Kailey Cradduck posted 15 points, five rebounds, five 3-pointers and five steals. Isabelle Bloker had 10 points. 

Deuel’s Jaycee Hourigan posted 15 points and three 3-pointers. Josie Anderson had seven points.


Vermillion 69, Dakota Valley 56

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Four players scored in double figures to pace Vermillion to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Vermillion’s Brooke Jensen scored 17 points, while Chandler Cleveland had 16 points. Jenaya Cleveland added 15 points and seven steals. Taylor Reuvers posted 12 points.

Dakota Valley’s Cameryn Sommervold had 15 points and Ella Otten added 13 points. Sophie Tuttle posted 10 points. 


Tea Area 52, Harrisburg 44 

TEA — Katie Vasecka powered Class A No. 5 Tea Area to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Vasecka finished with 32 points. Ellie Clayberg scored nine points.

Harrisburg’s Makinley Lawrenson scored 15 points. Sadie Mehrman added 10 points. 


Brandon Valley 59, Sioux Falls Washington 43

SIOUX FALLS — Alyvia Padgett powered Class AA No. 4 Brandon Valley to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Padgett finished with 28 points, 10 assists and three 3-pointers. Ava Kellenberger posted nine points. Amanda Lease and Gracie Salter scored five points apiece. Kennedi Deckert had six assists. 

Washington’s Grace Peterson and Dana Harpe scored nine points apiece. Rylan Kennett scored seven points. Claire Woods and Ava Brink scored five points apiece. Brink had six rebounds.
