Kami Wadsworth is the 2023 South Dakota Miss Basketball.

The Hamlin High School senior girls basketball player received the honor at the Hansen & Anderson Basketball Banquet on Sunday. Wadsworth is the first Hamlin girls basketball player to receive the honor. 

Wadsworth, a 5-foot-11 senior forward, led the Chargers to the Class A state championship after two straight runner-up finishes. 

The future University of Sioux Falls women’s basketball player averaged 22 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season.
