Hanson will host a track and football field complex open house prior to its home opener on Friday, Sept. 9. 

The school is nearing completion on its new turf football field and track and field facility upgrades. The $4.1 million project includes a new eight-lane track, a turf football field and track and field amenities, among other items.

The open house starts at 5 p.m. and all community members, donors are welcome to tour the facility. There will also be a junior tailgate at 5 p.m. and a walk/jog/run “The First Mile” event at 5:30 p.m.

The Beavers will host Parkston at 7 p.m. in their home opener.
