Herreid/Selby Area’s Brenden Begeman tweeted his intentions to play football at South Dakota State University on Tuesday. 

A 6-foot-2, 210-pound all-state running back, Begeman finished his career with 6,807 rushing yards, the most in state history. Begeman finished his senior season with 2,997 rushing yards, the most in a single season in state history. 

Begeman averaged 253.4 rushing yards per game this season and scored a total of 49 touchdowns this season.
