Douglas 38, Belle Fourche 35

BOX ELDER — Emma Blaisure buried a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left, propelling Douglas to a girls basketball win over Belle Fourche on Saturday. 


Corsica-Stickney 60, Scotland/Menno 30 

SCOTLAND — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 10 Corsica-Stickney to a girls basketball win on Saturday. 

Braylee Bordewyk led the Jaguars with 20 points. Sophie DeLange added 19 points and Hadynn Johnson scored 12 points.

For Scotland/Menno, Lexie McNinch scored nine points. 


Lennox 46, Groton Area 22

LENNOX — Class A No. 2 Lennox coasted past Groton Area for a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Lennox’s Andie Peters finished with 14 points and five rebounds. Bergan Musser added nine points and four rebounds. Tori Gerdes recorded nine points and six boards. Olivia Niederbaumer had six points and three rebounds.

For Groton Area, Jaedyn Penning totaled 13 points and six rebounds. 


Chester 56, Alcester-Hudson 41

CHESTER — Class B No. 9 Chester pulled away from Alcester-Hudson for a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Chester’s Emmerson Eppard finished with 20 points, 13 rebounds and five steals. Jacy Wolf added 15 points and Katelyn Schut scored 14 points. Schut added eight rebounds and Wolf had four steals. 

For Alcester-Hudson, Skylar Hongslo posted 12 points and Emily Winquist scored 10 points. 


Harding County 66, Faith 44

FAITH — Four players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 6 Harding County to a girls basketball win on Saturday. 

Harding County’s Kamry Padden posted 15 points, four 3-pointers and four rebounds. Macey Wendt totaled 13 points, while Sattyn Wilson added 11 points. Kaylen Padden scored 10 points and four rebounds. Raelee Hunsucker totaled six points, three rebounds and five assists. Maci Wammen had five points and three rebounds. 

For Faith, Raynee Jones scored 17 points, grabbed six rebounds and hit three 3-pointers. Brynlie Price totaled 10 points and five boards. Cashley King scored six points. 


Faulkton Area 52, North Central 36 

ROSCOE — Three players scored in double figures to power Faulkton Area to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Faulkton Area’s Presleigh Martinmaas scored 15 points, while Anika Mueller scored 13 points. Brooklyn Mueller scored 12 points. Claire Cotton had five points.

For NC, Amree VanderVorst had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ella Batie posted 11 points and 10 boards. Alaina Dosch had five points, while Lindsey Geier posted six rebounds and three points. 


Langford Area 45, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 33

REDFIELD — Paytyn Marlow and Alexandria Darling combined to score 15 points to power Langford Area to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Redfield Holiday Classic.

Marlow scored 20 points and hit three 3-pointers. Darling posted 15 points.

For ACDC, Lily Muckey scored 17 points and Audrey DeHaan added eight points. Nakayah Long scored six points. 


Redfield 36, Sully Buttes 32

REDFIELD — Brynn Giblin paced Redfield to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Redfield Holiday Classic.

Giblin scored a game-high 17 points. Charli Jungwirth added six points. 

For Sully Buttes, Berkley Birney scored 13 points and Jadyn Jaeger added 10 points. 


Gregory 41, Wolsey-Wessington 38

REDFIELD — Gregory clipped Wolsey-Wessington in girls basketball action at Saturday’s Redfield Holiday Classic.

Gregory’s Dani VanDerWerff finished with 15 points. Regan Graesser and Asia VanDerWerff scored 12 points apiece. 

For WW, Shae Uttecht netted 26 points and hit four 3-pointers. 


Miller 50, Ipswich 37

REDFIELD — Jolie Palmer and Madelyn Saienga paced Miller to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Redfield Holiday Classic.

Palmer posted 12 points and Saienga added 10 points. Paige Werdel recorded nine points and Kate Lichty scored seven points. Kaihlyn Anderberg scored six points.

For Ipswich, Anna Nierman scored 13 points. Marley Guthmiller added 10 points. Jalyssa Hutson scored six points and Brianna Geditz had five points. 


Castlewood 58, Deuel 32

CLEAR LAKE — Sophia Kudrna and Ava Ruml powered Castlewood to a Saturday’s girls basketball win.

Kudrna finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Ruml added 13 points and eight boards. Cassidy Kirwan scored nine points and grabbed five boards. Claire Horn and Bryn Schooley scored eight points apiece.

For Deuel, Graclyn Nielsen finished with 13 points. Camdyn Peterreins added 12 points. Alayna Carlson scored five points. 


Clark/Willow Lake 58, Webster Area 34

WEBSTER — Three players scored in double figures to pace Clark/Willow Lake to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

CWL’s Shelby Begeman finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jenny Bevers recorded 15 points, four rebounds and three 3-pointers. Brynn Roehrich added 11 points and nine rebounds. Johanna Vandersnick had six points.

For Webster Area, Bailee Ninke totaled 16 points and 10 rebounds. Chloe Mammenga had six points and five boards. 


Harrisburg 49, Huron 35

HARRISBURG — Harrisburg topped Huron in girls basketball action on Saturday.

Harrisburg’s Taylor Nedved finished with 14 points.

Huron’s Hylton Heinz scored 13 points.
