Bon Homme 65, Kimball/White Lake 38

KIMBALL — Bon Homme coasted past Kimball/White Lake for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Bon Homme’s Jurni Vavruska finished with 17 points and Kendaee Kozak added 15 points. Erin Heusinkveld had 13 points. 

For KWL, Ryann Nielsen had 22 points, while Harley Namanny added nine points and four rebounds. Lindy Kiehn posted six rebounds.


Mt. Vernon/Plankinton 59, Wagner 45 

WAGNER — Mt. Vernon/Plankinton upset Class A No. 1 Wagner in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

MVP’s Emilee Fox finished with 26 points, grabbed nine rebounds and hit six 3-pointers. Kiya Schmidt scored 13 points, collected five rebounds and hit three 3-pointers. Reagan Rus recorded 12 points and five rebounds, while Vanessa Hoffman scored eight points. 

For Wagner, Macy Koupal scored 22 points and added six rebounds. Ashlyn Koupal had 12 points and six boards. Braxton Nedved added five points. 


Hanson 53, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 34

HANSON — Three players scored in double-figures as Hanson defeated Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in girls basketball action Tuesday night. Hanson coach Jim Bridge recorded his 629th career win, tying Dawn Seiler for the most wins in South Dakota girls basketball history. 

Alyssa Moschell led the way for Hanson with 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and seven steals. Kylie Haiar finished with 12 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Taziah Hawkins added 12 points and five assists for Hanson.

Kamryn Oschner led Sanborn Central/Woonsocket with eight points. Liz Boschee and Kenna Oschner combined for 15 points and Jaycee Baruth chipped in with seven points. 


Sisseton 60, Lennox 49 

VOLGA — Class A No. 1 Sisseton pulled away from Lennox for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Sisseton’s Krista Langager posted 26 points and grabbed six rebounds. Emmalee Nielsen logged 10 points, six rebounds and four assists. Hannah Leverson had six points and five steals. 

For Lennox, Carli Kuyper recorded 15 points, while Dani Highum added 11 points and five rebounds. Andie Peters posted 10 points. 


Parkston 53, Platte-Geddes 35

PARKSTON — Three players scored in double-figures as Parkston defeated Platte-Geddes in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Berkeley Ziebart led Parkston with 17 points and four rebounds. Gracie Oakley finished with 12 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Lauren Ziebart added 11 points and six rebounds for Parkston.

Karly VanDerWerff led Platte-Geddes with 19 points, five rebounds and five steals. 


Flandreau 71, Madison 29

FLANDREAU — Class A No. 4 Flandreau coasted past Madison for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Lily Klein recorded 23 points and four assists. Lizzie Pavlis added 14 points, while Claire Sheppard posted 12 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Sadie Iott scored nine points.

For Madison, Audrey Nelson scored 14 points. 


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 53, Wessington Springs 39 

NEW HOLLAND — Andes Central/Dakota Christian picked up a girls basketball win over Wessington Springs on Tuesday.

ACDC’s Josie Brouwer finished with 13 points, four steals and four assists. Mahpiya Irving added 11 points, while Halle Olson had 10 points, six blocked shots and four rebounds. 

For Wessington Springs, Avery Orth posted 17 points and 10 rebounds. Carissa Scheel had five points. Alyssa Grohs logged six assists. 


Rapid City Christian 53, Custer 52

CUSTER — Rapid City Christian clipped Custer in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

Rapid City Christian’s Hayden Thorton recorded 20 points, while Abby Thomson scored seven points. Sadie Marshall and Lydia Williams scored six points apiece. 

Custer stats were not reported. 


Arlington 51, Florence-Henry 44

ARLINGTON — Arlington edged Florence-Henry for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Arlington’s Addalyn Steffensen and Jaelyn Huntimer scored 14 points apiece. Huntimer had eight rebounds and Steffensen had five rebounds. Isabelle Steffensen posted nine points and Harley Johnson logged eight points. Jolyssa Steffensen had six points.

For Florence-Henry, Caylin Kelly posted 19 points and eight rebounds. Taylor Watson added 10 points and four rebounds. Reese Schmidt had eight points, while Haley Hlavacek had 10 rebounds. 


Avon 46, Burke 39

BURKE — Three players scored in double figures as Avon earned a road win over Burke in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Mckenna Kocmich led the Avon attack with 18 points. Courtney Sees scored 11 points and Rilyn Thury chipped in with ten points.

Cecily Geaghan led Burke with 16 points. Paige Bull posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Kailee Frank dished out five assists for Burke. 


Faulkton Area 32, Northwestern 28 

MELLETTE — Kelli Stoecker and Carley Cotton combined to score 24 points to pace Faulkton Area to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Cotton finished with 14 points, four rebounds and three steals. Stoecker added 10 points and 11 rebounds. Jaymi Senn logged six points and five rebounds. Presleigh Martinmaas had nine rebounds.

For Northwestern, Tara Blachford scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds. Sophia Troske finished with nine points, all on 3-pointers. Ashley Haven added 12 rebounds, while Ella Boekelheide had 11 rebounds. Josie Sparling grabbed six rebounds. 


Sioux Valley 56, De Smet 42

VOLGA — Three players scored in double figures to pace Sioux Valley to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Sioux Valley’s Isabelle Bloker recorded 17 points and hit five 3-pointers. Talya Vincent had 14 points and four 3-pointers. Kailey Cradduck posted 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Liberty Trygstad had five points. 

For De Smet, Hazel Luethmers posted 16 points and five rebounds. Mirra Beck added 10 rebounds and four points. Brooke Jennings added six points and five rebounds. Megan Dylla had six points. 


Redfield 31, Hitchcock-Tulare 30

TULARE — A balanced scoring attack helped Redfield hold off Hitchcock-Tulare in girls basketball action Tuesday night. 

Katie Rozell led Redfield with 11 points. Addison Evens chipped in with eight big points for Redfield. 

Katelyn Schroeder led Hitchcock-Tulare with 10 points. Cambree Hoekman nearly reached double-figures with a nine point effort.


Centerville 63, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 43 

CENTERVILLE — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 2 Centerville to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

TDA’s Althea Gust scored 17 points and dished out six assists. Keira Austin added 14 points and five rebounds. Emma Marshall posted 12 points and six rebounds. MaKayla Heesch and Emma Marshall scored eight points apiece. Heesch had seven rebounds. 

Centerville’s Megan Reiner scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed six rebounds. Mia Reiner and Kinley Spaans scored 11 points apiece. Spaans added nine rebounds and Mia Reiner had eight rebounds.


Huron 54, Watertown 45

HURON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Huron to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Huron’s Hamtyn Heinz finished with 18 points, six rebounds and four 3-pointers. Hylton Heinz and Elizabeth Heinen scored 15 points apiece. Heinen hauled in seven rebounds. 

For Watertown, Emery Thury had 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Miranda Falconer logged eight points, while Addi Johnston posted seven points and four rebounds.
