Winner 54, Corsica-Stickney 32

WINNER — A balanced scoring attack helped Winner defeat Corsica-Stickney in girls basketball action Monday. 

Ava Craven and Cici Watson each had 12 points to lead Winner. Lilly Barfuss chipped in with eight points. 

Stats for Corsica-Stickney were not reported.


Lyman 73, Potter County 60

PRESHO — Three players scored in double figures to pace Lyman to a girls basketball win on Monday.

Mak Scott erupted for 30 points, six rebounds and four assists. Skyler Volmer added 21 points, six rebounds and five steals. Brooke Palmer posted 10 points and five steals. McKenzie Laverdure had five points and six rebounds. 

Potter County stats were not reported. 


Howard 48, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 36

RUTLAND — Abby Aslesen powered Howard to a girls basketball win on Monday.

Aslesen finished with 24 points, 16 rebounds and eight blocked shots. Liz Albrecht added 13 points, while Ann Connor had five points and seven rebounds.

ORR’s Julia Trygstad scored 10 points. 


Burke 54, Gayville-Volin 43

BURKE — A balanced scoring attack helped Burke earn a win over Gayville-Volin in girls basketball action Monday.

Paige Bull powered Burke with 23 points and four rebounds. Emmie Hausmann finished with 13 points and four rebounds. Kailee Frank finished with eight points and five assists 

Taylor Hoxeng led Gayville-Volin with 15 points. Paisley Dimmer chipped in with eight points.  


Sioux Valley 60, McCook Central/Montrose 31

VOLGA — A balanced scoring attack helped Sioux Valley earn a win over McCook Central/Montrose in girls basketball action Monday.

Isabelle Bloker led Sioux Valley with 14 points. Liberty Trygstad added 12 points and Kailey Cradduck 11 points. Tayla Vincent added eight points and Keyra Kruse chipped in with eight points.
