Sioux Valley 62, Mobridge-Pollock 47

MADISON — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 4 Sioux Valley over Class No. 7 Mobridge-Pollock at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Basketball Classic.

Miley Keating led the Cossacks with 19 points, Kailey Cradduck added 18 points while Talya Vincent and Liberty Trygstad each recorded 10 points in the win.

 For MP, Tegan Konold led the Tigers with 15 points, Blake Thompson had 12 points, Brooke Bain added 10 points while Faith Heil had seven points in the loss.


Baltic 50, Belle Fourche 36

MADISON — Meredith Larson’s 20-point game powered Baltic to a girls basketball victory over Belle Fourche in girls basketball action at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Larson led the Bulldogs with 20 points, Caitlyn Pickett had 14 points, Kaiya Lenderts recorded nine points while Kate Bouman totaled six points in the win.

For BF, Denali Larson had 12 points while Emma Nehl, Ansley O’Brien and Mya Nowowiejski each had six points in the loss.


Miller 41, Bon Homme 24

MADISON — A balanced scoring attack guided Miller over Bon Homme in girls basketball action at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Bailey Brueggeman led the Rustlers with 11 points, Jolie Palmer added nine points, Madelyn Saienga collected seven points while Paige Werdel collected six points in the win.

 For BH, Olivia Kaul had seven points while Taycee Ranek recorded six points in the loss.


De Smet 71, Wynot (Neb.) 59

MADISON — Grant Wilkinson powered Class B No. 4 De Smet to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Basketball Classic.

Wilkinson finished with 31 points and 16 rebounds. Carter Wilkinson added 17 points. Coy Van Regenmorter had eight points and four steals. Noah Luethmers and Slayten Wilkinson scored seven points apiece. Luethmers grabbed nine rebounds and added three steals. Slayten Wilkinson added four steals.


Miller 55, Bon Homme 25

MADISON — William Resel and Isaak Hunter combined for 41 points in Miller’s boys basketball win over Bon Homme at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Resel led the Rustlers with 21 points while Hunter had 20 points in the win. Oliver Fritzsche scored six points as well for Miller.

For BH, Madden Merkwan tallied eight points while Cooper Mudder netted six points in the loss.


Mobridge-Pollock 69, Hill City 47

MADISON — Kale Knudson’s 22-point outing lifted Mobridge-Pollock over Hill City in boys basketball action at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Knudson led the Tigers with 22 points, Kyson Good Shield had 16 points, hitting four three-pointers, while Shooter Frederick added 13 points in the win.

For HC, Zane Messick led the Rangers with 18 points, Dax Frandsen had 10 points, Isaiah Brewer collected eight points while Brodi Moriarty had seven points in the loss.


Parker/Marion 67, Belle Fourche 44

MADISON — Four players posted double figures in Parker-Marion’s boys basketball win over Belle Fourche in Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Tonner Peterson and Landon Wieman each had 12 points while Karter Weber and Jackson Donlan each had 11 points in the win.

For BF, Sern Weishaar led the Broncs with 20 points while JP Jensen and Reven Audiss each had six points in the loss.


Madison 40, Parker/Marion 30

MADISON — A balanced scoring attack guided Madison over Parker/Marion in girls basketball action at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Logan Prostrollo led the Bulldogs with seven points, two rebounds and two steals, Grace Feige had six points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists, Kennedy Bryant had six points, Jordyn Schmidt totaled six points and five rebounds while Collins Nielsen collected five points and three rebounds in the win.

For Parker/Marion, Emma Tuschen had 13 points and 12 rebounds, Maliyah Nankivel had five points and four rebounds while Claire Donlan added four points in the loss.

 

Luverne (Minn.) 44, Baltic 42

MADISON — Baltic fell in the closing moments during Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Kellen Artz led the Bulldogs with 13 points while Dylan Runestad added 10 points in the loss.

 

Madison 63, Worthington (Minn.) 58

MADISON — Henry and Shane Veenhof combined for 47 points as Madison took home a boys basketball victory at Saturday’s America’s Hometown Classic.

Henry Veenhof led the Bulldogs with 24 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals, Shane Veenhof added 23 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals while Casyn Crabtree collected seven points in the win.
