Canton 49, Baltic 29

BALTIC — Jordan Rhead and Mya Anderson combined for 33 points as Canton defeated Baltic in girls basketball action Friday.

Rhead led the C-Hawks with 18 points, Anderson added 15 points, while Gracie Turbes and Camryn Skiles each had five points in the win.

For Baltic, Sadey Holt had 13 points while Braylee Parmely netted 11 points in the loss.


Sioux Valley 66, Lakota Tech 63

VOLGA — Class A No. 5 Sioux Valley clipped Class A No. 10 Lakota Tech for a girls basketball win Friday.

Sioux Valley’s Miley Keating scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed four rebounds. Liberty Trygstad had 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers. Kailey Cradduck added 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Talya Vincent and Amari Ward had six points and three rebounds apiece. Vincent added six assists. 

For Lakota Tech, Lizzie Robinson had 20 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Amelia Shangreaux added 15 points and three boards. Kate Robinson finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and three 3-pointers. Addison Goings totaled nine points and three rebounds. Isabella Shangreaux scored five points. 


Rapid City Christian 56, Deubrook Area 54

WHITE — Rapid City Christian edged Deubrook Area for a girls basketball win on Friday.

RCC’s Sadie Marshall finished with 13 points and Brynn Casey added 12 points. Maddie Kooiman had nine points and Miley Johnson scored six points.

Deubrook Area’s Kylee Johnson scored 19 points and Matte Bauman added 12 points. Mataya Gouws and Peyton Trooien scored nine points apiece. Neely Gustad had five points.


Mobridge-Pollock 64, Chamberlain 20 

CHAMBERLAIN — Three players scored in double figures to power Mobridge-Pollock to a girls basketball win Friday.

Blake Thompson tossed in 20 points and hit four 3-pointers. Tegan Konold added 12 points, while Brooke Bain had 10 points. Pacey Konold scored seven points and Faith Heil had six points.

For Chamberlain, Amelia LaPointe scored six points and Kali Randall had five points.


McCook Central-Montrose 56, Canistota 21

CANISTOTA — A balanced scoring attack guided McCook Central-Montrose to a girls basketball win over Canistota Friday.

Mandi Schock led the Fighting Cougars with 11 points and eight rebounds, Natalie Lueth added 10 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals, Mya Morrison and Ashtyn DeKnikker each had eight points, Cami McGuire totaled six points while Ella DeKnikker tallied five points in the win.

For Canistota, Emma Sandman had 10 points and seven rebounds in the loss.


Parkston 57, Miller 40

PARKSTON — Berkley Ziebart and Keera Oakley powered Class B No. 2 Parkston to a girls basketball win on Friday. 

Ziebart finished with 24 points, while Oakey added 21 points. Alexis Holzbauer and Kahris Tapio scored five points apiece. 

For Miller, Paige Werdel scored 17 points. Jolie Palmer added nine points and Katie Lichty had six points. 


North Central 43, Strasburg-Zeeland (N.D.) 13 

EUREKA — North Central rolled past Strasburg-Zeeland (N.D.) for a girls basketball win on Friday.

NC’s Amree Vander Vorst scored 12 points and Ella Battie had nine points. Tylee Vander Vorst and Carleigh Dosch scored five points apiece.
