Rapid City Central 52, Sturgis 43

STURGIS — Leah Landry powered Rapid City Central to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Landry finished with 18 points, while Colee Kruse scored nine points. Chloe Shreve and Olivia Pierce added eight points apiece. Persayah Parker scored six points. 

For Sturgis, Brilee Heath and Olivia Vliem had nine points apiece. Addy Kossler scored seven points. Tori Williams had six points and Kierra Killinger scored five points. 


Gayville-Volin 57, Centerville 46

CENTERVILLE — Gayville-Volin upset Class B No. 1 Centerville in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

GV’s Paisley Dimmer finished with 19 points and Maia Achen added 17 points. Taylor Hoxeng had eight points. Aliza Westrum scored seven points and Jolie Westrum added six points.

For Centerville, Izzie Eide had 22 points and six rebounds. Brea Austin added 14 points and three steals. Peyton Hansen scored six points. 


St. Thomas More 63, Belle Fourche 31

RAPID CITY — St. Thomas More rolled past Belle Fourche for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

STM’s Leighton Scherr scored 17 points, while Brynn Donnelly had 14 points and four 3-pointers. Emily Crawford scored 10 points. Rachael Hyde and Kelsey Benda had six points apiece. 

For Belle Fourche, Emma Nehl scored eight points and Denali Larson had seven points. Reagan Hatling posted seven points. 


Parkston 60, Hanson 29

PARKSTON — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 3 Parkston to a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Berkley Ziebart finished with 19 points and four rebounds. Keeara Oakley totaled 11 points and five rebounds. Kennedy Knippling had 10 points. Lexi Schoenfelder grabbed 10 rebounds. Alexis Holzbauer had eight points, while Morgan Maxwell added five points and four rebounds.

For Hanson, Page Kayser scored eight points. Ava Doyle and Hannah Easton scored seven points apiece. 


Rapid City Christian 82, Hill City 46

RAPID CITY — Nora Kieffer powered Rapid City Christian to a girls basketball win over Hill City.

Kieffer finished with 24 points and four 3-pointers. Brynn Casey added 17 points and five 3-pointers. Nia Selfridge, Sadie Marshall, Miley Johnson and Liza Kieffer scored six points apiece. 

For Hill City, Lillie Ham scored 17 points. 


Wagner 59, Ethan 50

WAGNER — Ashlyn Koupal powered Class A No. 7 Wagner to a girls basketball win over Class B No. 5 Ethan on Tuesday.

Koupal finished with 31 points, 18 rebounds, four 3-pointers and three blocked shots. Braxton Nedved totaled 11 points and hit three 3-pointers, while Ravyn Medricky had nine points and six rebounds.

For Ethan, Marissa Storm finished with 13 points and six rebounds. Taziah Hawkins added 12 points on four 3-pointers and added three assists. Macie Dean had nine points on three 3-pointers and added five assists. Madelyn Nebelsick had eight points and three rebounds. Rachel Klock scored seven points. 


Arlington 50, Madison 41

MADISON — Jaelyn Huntimer powered Arlington to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Huntimer finished with 32 points, 14 rebounds, three 3-pointers and three assists. Lauryn Mutziger added eight points and six boards. Sony Johnson had six points and seven rebounds.

For Madison, Ella Malone, Grace Feige and Collins Nielsen scored nine points apiece. Jaya Engels had six points. 


Freeman 81, Irene-Wakonda 57

IRENE — Rylee Peters powered Freeman to a girls basketball win over Irene-Wakonda on Tuesday.

Peters finished with a game-high 26 points, to go along with four assists and four steals. Cadence Hofer had 17 points and six rebounds. Vaida Ammann had 14 points and three steals.

For IW, Maryn Lyngstad had 16 points and four rebounds. Ava George finished with 15 points, while Emily Oien totaled 14 points. Bella Healy added five points and five boards. 


Wessington Springs 41, Faulkton Area 37

FAULKTON — Londyn Mikkelsen and Kaitlyn Braun powered Wessington Springs to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Mikkelsen finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Braun added 10 points and seven rebounds. Kenzie Kolousek added six points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Kerstynn Heim had six points and eight rebounds.

For Faulkton Area, Anika Mueller finished with 18 points and nine rebounds. Presleigh Martinmaas totaled 10 points. Brooklyn Mueller added five points and four rebounds. 


Ipswich 44, Sully Buttes 38

IPSWICH — Ipswich pulled away from Sully Buttes for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Ipswich’s Anna Nierman finished with nine points, while Brianna Geditz posted eight points. Marley Guthmiller added seven points and five rebounds. Tristan Geditz posted five points and nine rebounds. Emri Braun scored five points. LaVayah Russell had five points and three rebounds. Jalyssa Hutson totaled three points and seven rebounds.

For Sully Buttes, Jadyn Jaeger totaled 15 points and 15 rebounds. Myli Weischedel totaled seven points and four rebounds. Scotlynn Kinney had five points and six boards. 


Highmore-Harrold 56, Stanley County 19

HIGHMORE — Three players scored in double figures to power Highmore-Harrold to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

HH’s Jada Baloun scored 14 points and grabbed eight boards. Autumn Fallis had 13 points. Whitley Baloun added 10 points and Elle Stagg scored eight points. 

Stanley County stats were not reported. 


Hitchcock/Tulare 44, Iroquois/Lake Preston 33

LAKE PRESTON — Hitchcock-Tulare defeated Iroquois/Lake Preston for a Tuesday girls basketball win.

Hitchcock-Tulare stats were not reported.

For ILP, Hadlee Holt finished with 11 points and Bentlee Holt added 10 points. Natalie Cundy scored seven points. 


Sioux Valley 69, Deubrook Area 59

VOLGA — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 4 Sioux Valley to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

SV’s Liberty Trygstad finished with 20 points and five 3-pointers. Talya Vincent had 18 points and six 3-pointers. Kailey Cradduck posted 15 points, 13 rebounds and three 3-pointers. Amari Ward added six points and four assists. 

For Deubrook Area, Mataya Gouws, Matte Bauman and Kylee Johnson scored 14 points apiece. Johnson added 10 rebounds and seven assists. Peyton Trooien had seven points. 


Flandreau 59, Castlewood 33

FLANDREAU — Rhegan Sheppard and Morgan Sheppard powered Flandreau to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Rhegan Sheppard finished with 19 points and five assists. Morgan Sheppard added 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Calla Wiese totaled eight points and four steals. 

For Castlewood, Sophia Kudrna posted 12 points and Ava Ruml scored 10 points. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 46, Viborg-Hurley 26

ELK POINT — Makinley Hammitt and Cera Schmitz scored 13 points apiece to power Elk Point-Jefferson to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Hammitt finished with 13 points and four assists. Schmitz added 13 points and six rebounds. Kate Hayes had eight points, while Paige Jacobs totaled seven points and seven rebounds. 

For VH, Tatum Lyons scored 10 points.
