DELL RAPIDS — Colman-Egan sophomore Christopher Lee had a big day at Monday’s Quarrier Invitational. 

Lee won the 100-meter dash (:11.17), the 200-meter dash (:22.67) and anchored the 800-meter relay to a season's best time of 1:33.10. He also ran a leg on the third place 400-meter relay which ran a season's best time of (:45.31). 

The Canton girls won the team title scoring 87 points, ahead of Colman-Egan (78) and Dell Rapids (76). The Dell Rapids boys won the team title with 87 points, ahead of Elkton-Lake Benton (74) and Baltic (62). 

In boys action, Baltic’s Isaac Weeman was a double-winner claiming titles in the shot put (47-0) and discus (141-2). 

Dell Rapids sophomore Josh Fletcher won the 3,200-meter run (10:09.56) and ran a leg on the Quarriers winning 3,200-meter relay (8:54.04). Dell Rapids senior Braden Fersdahl won the long jump (20-4) and finished second in the triple jump (40-7) and ran a leg on the Quarriers 800-meter relay that finished second (1:33.82). 

Howard Wood Dakota Relays high jump champion Jack Mousel won the high jump with a leap of 6-2. 

In girls action Canton’s Jaryn Warejcka won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.27) and the long jump (16-9). 

The Parker girls sprint relays had an outstanding day, nipping Colman-Egan in both the 400-meter relay (:51.52) and 800-meter relay (1:49.62). Freshman Braelyn Berens won the 100-meter dash (:13.03), ran on both winning relays and finished third in the 200-meter dash (:27.09). 

Several outstanding performances from the Colman-Egan girls on Monday. Senior Reese Luze won the 800-meter run in 2:16.93 chopping almost three seconds off her season's best. Colman-Egan senior Josie Mousel won the 200-meter dash in (:26.27) just off her season's best time.
