Sioux Falls Christian 4, McCook 0

RENNER — Caden Reitz threw a no-hitter to lead Sioux Falls Christian to a high school baseball win over McCook on Tuesday.

Reitz did not allow a run or hit in seven innings, striking out one. Reitz, and Tate Snyder each tallied three hits, while Cole Snyder added two hits. 

McCook’s Gavin Gordon pitched six innings, giving up four runs, nine hits, and striking out seven in the loss.


Parkston 10, Elk Point-Jefferson 3

ELK POINT — Parkston racked up 13 hits in a high school baseball win over Elk Point-Jefferson on Tuesday.

Brayden Jervik finished 3 of 4 to lead the Trojans, while Jay Storm, Kaleb Weber, and Max Scott each added two hits. Ty Neugebauer and Carter Kalda each hit home runs on the day.

Scott picked up the win for the Trojans, allowing two runs, zero hits, and three strikeouts in five innings.

Noah Larson allowed eight hits, six runs, three strikeouts, and one walk in four innings in the loss for the Huskies. Hunter Geary led the Huskies with two hits.


Wagner 4, Scotland/Menno 3

WAGNER — Wagner held off Scotland/Menno for a high school baseball win on Tuesday.

Nolan Dvorak took the win for Wagner, allowing two hits, zero runs, one walk, and striking out seven in five innings. Dustin Honomichl allowed three hits and three runs in two innings and struck out four. Dvorak also led Wagner with two hits.

Kory Keppen took the loss for Scotland/Menno, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out six in 5 ⅓ innings.

Scotland/Menno won game 2 by a score of 8-5.


West Central 7, Chester/Colman-Egan/Flandreau 1

HUMBOLDT — West Central powered past Chester/Colman-Egan/Flandreau in a high school baseball game on Tuesday.

Andrew Zimmer picked up the win for West Central, pitching seven innings and allowing four hits and one run while striking out seven batters. Grafton Stroup was 3 of 4 to lead West Central in hits.

Kolby Peters allowed seven runs on eight hits and struck out six in six innings in the loss for Chester/Colman-Egan/Flandreau. Peters, Tash Lunday, Dylan Christenson, and Logan Voelker each had one hit for Chester/Colman-Egan/Flandreau.


Dell Rapids 18, Tri-Valley 4

SIOUX FALLS — Aiden Boechler drove in six on three hits to push Dell Rapids past Tri-Valley in a high school baseball game on Tuesday.

Boechler and C.J. Smith each recorded three hits, while Dylan Mathis, Landon Ruesink, and Will Jaton each tallied two hits. Brayden Pankonen earned the win for Dell Rapids, giving up six hits and four runs, while striking out six in five innings. 

Tyler Groenwold gave up 10 runs on 10 hits and struck out six in four innings for Tri-Valley in the loss. Cole Focken led Tri-Valley with two hits.


Pierre 2, Mitchell 1 

PIERRE — Pierre scored a run in the fifth inning to advance past Mitchell in a high school baseball game on Tuesday.

Jackson Edman picked up the win for the Governors, going four innings while allowing three hits and one run and also striking out one and walking zero.

Grayson Hunsley, Jayden Wiebe, Gary Nedved, Jonny Lyons, Lincoln Kienholz, and Jett Zabel each tallied one hit for Pierre.

Jonah Schmidt took the loss for Mitchell, giving up one run on four hits in four innings and striking out eight and walking one. Peyton Mandel led Mitchell with two hits.

Pierre also won game 2 by a score of 6-1.


Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian/White Lake 11, Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman 0

The Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian/White Lake Honkers used 12 hits to cruise past Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman in a high school baseball game on Tuesday.

Caden Foxley tallied three hits, while Aiden Bultje, Grayson Hanson, and Joey Foxley each added two hits for the Honkers.

Dawson Hoffman took the win for the Honkers, lasting five innings, allowing four hits, zero runs, and ten strikeouts.

Ian Anderson took the loss for Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman, giving up five runs on five hits in three innings, and striking out two.

Anderson, Blake Leiferman, Hudson Heath, and Carter Lenz each had one hit for Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman.


Winner/Colome 6, Gregory County 5

GREGORY — Winner/Colome edged Gregory County in a high school baseball game on Tuesday.

Joey Cole picked up the win for the Royals, pitching five innings and giving up four runs on six hits. He also struck out three batters. Ashton Klein led Winner/Colome with two hits in three at bats.

Bryce Frank took the loss for Gregory County, pitching 5 ⅓ innings and allowing six hits and five runs while striking out six batters.

Rylan Peck and Trey Murray each had two hits to lead Gregory County.


Rapid City Christian 13, Belle Fourche 2

RAPID CITY — 12 runs in the final two innings propelled Rapid City Christian to a high school game win over Belle Fourche on Tuesday.

Jerred Zeigler earned the win for the Comets, pitching six innings and allowing two runs on four hits while striking out three batters.

Benson Kieffer led the Comets with three hits, while Elijah Hoyt added two hits. 

Dalton Davis took the loss for the Broncs, giving up two runs on two hits in four innings, while striking out two batters.

Evan Vissia, Harvey Walding, Ryker Audiss, and Sean Wahlfeldt each recorded one hit for Belle Fourche.
