MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock swept team titles at Friday’s Region 6A track and field meet.
The Mobridge-Pollock girls piled up 267 points, finishing ahead of North Central (131) and Miller (111).
The Mobridge-Pollock boys racked up 184.5 points, followed by Miller (171) and North Central (104.5).
Mobridge-Pollock’s Ryli Thompson posted first-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (:13.18) and 400-meter dash (1:03.32).
Mobridge-Pollock’s Faith Heil captured first-place finishes in the 800-meter run (2:28.79) and 1,600-meter run (5:57.56).
Mobridge-Pollock’s Heidi Olson placed second in the 800-meter run (2:28.97) and won the 3,200-meter run (12:24.25).
Miller’s Joanlei Baker won the shot put (32-2) and finished second in the discus (103-10).
The Mobridge-Pollock girls won the 400-meter relay (:56.39), 800-meter relay (1:50.88), 1,600-meter relay (4:18.42) and 3,200-meter relay (10:29.95)
On the boys side, Mobridge-Pollock’s Carter Hinsz won the shot put (44-4.5) and placed second in the discus (123-10).
Mobridge-Pollock’s Simon Fried was a double winner in the 300-meter hurdles (:42.69) and pole vault (9-9).
Stanley County’s Brendon Bothwell was a double winner in the 100-meter dash (:11.74) and 200-meter dash (:23.33).
Miller’s Pierce Baumberger won the 1,600-meter run (4:48.16) and 3,200-meter run (10:23.55).
Miller’s Isaak Hunter claimed first-place finishes in the triple jump (38-8.5) and 110-meter hurdles (:16.80).
